this production got me into LD. i remember many things, mostly being bewildered, but perhaps most clearly being asked to rape the girl i fancied the pants off of. weird. i remember james turl making the best WWII school boy i've ever seen. i remember a stage direction: "age 60 years". i remember confusion over who's baby was who's. i remember oscar not learning his feckin lines. and the welly. i remember the welly."

Of course, we might be seeing this again!
